What the calculator does not cover

Etsy Plus and Pattern subscriptions: Optional monthly plans with their own listing credits and tools. They cost the same regardless of what you sell, so they do not belong in a per-sale calculation.
Selling from the UK: Etsy sets the processing rate by the seller’s payout country, and it charges UK sellers a Regulatory Operating fee that does not exist here. This page uses the US schedule — the UK calculator uses theirs.
Refunds and cancellations: Have their own handling under Etsy’s policies, and depend on what happens after the sale rather than on the sale itself.
Etsy Ads you run yourself: A separate, seller-controlled advertising budget — distinct from Offsite Ads, which Etsy runs and only charges for on a sale it produced.
